Bumpdate | 14 Weeks

How far along? 14 weeks in the photo. Currently 15 weeks, 1 day.

Size of baby: Baby is the size of an Apple.

Gender: Coming soon!

Weight Gain: I am counting my pre-pregnancy, but post fertility treatments weight as my baseline. So far I have gained 3-4 pounds which is right on track.

Maternity Clothes: Most definitely. I have been wearing these for a few weeks and I am glad I decided to just do it. At first, I tried to fight it, but I am way more comfortable in maternity clothes. So far I bought one pair of maternity jeans from Gap and one pair of black maternity leggings from Loft. I also bought three basic maternity tank tops from Gap. I don't need those yet, but I figure I will need them eventually and this way I can use one for my weekly photo.

Symptoms: Headaches. Oh the headaches can leave any time. Other than that I have noticed an increase in my energy again and the nausea is almost completely gone. I will say that I have had a cough for the last month or so and every once in a while I will have a coughing fit that then makes me feel like throwing up. I usually can fight it, but last week I failed to fight it. So far that is the only time I have actually gotten sick thus far in my pregnancy.

Cravings: I had to run to the store the other night to get some essentials for dinner and I walked past the frosted sugar cookies and they were calling my name. Mmmm, so good. Otherwise I have not noticed any sort of cravings. In fact, I have the opposite problem where nothing really sounds good anymore.

Sleep: Better! Before, I would wake up 3-4 times a night to pee and sometimes it would take me forever to fall back to sleep. Usually, if I woke up around 6am to go to the bathroom, I would then be up for the day. Lately, I have noticed that I have only been waking up 1-2 times a night and I have been able to sleep in later which has been nice. I have also noticed that I am stress sleeping and typically wake up with sore neck muscles, which adds to the headaches. Hopefully that will go away soon.

Best Moment This Week: Cleaning out what will be the nursery and getting it ready to add baby furniture. We will probably not need that room for a while, but we have just started to reorganize the upstairs so cleaning it out made sense.

Looking Forward To: The gender reveal!
