Thankful

Some days, it is harder to focus on everything that is going right in life. To be able to sit back and say that yes, I do have a lot to be thankful for. So I am here the day before Thanksgiving, giving thanks for certain things in my life.

I am thankful for....

My husband. For so many reasons, but mostly because he keeps me sane. He is also extremely supportive of my Christmas decorations obsession and has even encouraged me to get more. He is exactly what I need in my life right now.
Christmas decorations. It is a little ridiculous how excited I get about this, but  don't really care. It is even more fun this year because we have the same decor, but a whole new house to decorate which is super exciting. And yes we pulled out the Christmas decor before Thanksgiving.
A car that gets me where I need to be. Even if it does cost an arm and a leg to fix. But it is currently working so that is always a good thing.

Our House. I love everything about it and love that we have so many firsts in this house still to come. These days it can be hard to keep up with the mess, but I am still thankful to have a house to clean. Some people can't say the same.

For my husband's newest toy. He got a kitchen aid mixer for his birthday (yes he did actually want it) and he has been so excited about making everything. Last weekend, he made some mint chocolate ice cream. While I don't think I will eat any of it, he was so excited to make something.
A nice hot bath after a long day. Enough said.

My niece and nephew. Even though they are a thousand miles away, I still get the pleasure of seeing videos of them crawling, get to help pick out Thanksgiving outfits and even purchase an outfit or two for them myself. I may not have kids yet, but I have these two to spoil and that makes me happy.
For the best of friends. When I am having the worst of days, I am always grateful for friends who can be my voice of reason and just be there to listen.

For jobs and paychecks. Because you know...it would be hard to live without those.

And last but not least, family. Because they are the most important thing to me and I can't wait until Christmas to see them all again!

Wedding Rehearsal + Candids

Yesterday I shared a bunch of professional pictures from my sister's wedding. Today I have some pictures from myself and some friends that were taken over the wedding weekend. I never shared these before because I did not realize how much I had to share.

The day before the wedding, all the bridesmaids plus my cousin and grandma went to get manicures together. Once we were done being pampered we headed to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner where my sister gifted the bridesmaids with our wedding day shoes.
The next day was of course wedding day which I told you all about yesterday. So I will let the pictures speak for themselves. These pictures bring back a flood of memories and how much fun we really had that day!
Such a fun day! It is crazy how fast the day flew by. One minute we were getting ready and the next we were closing down the dance floor. Such a fun and special day and I am so glad I got to be a part of it!

And then because I love a good photobooth session....
