Stitch Fix

Have you heard of Stitch Fix? I am in love. If you have not heard of it here is the gist. You go online to their website and fill out a profile on what kind of clothes you like and don't like. How you like things to fit and what you look for in clothes. Based on your response to the questions your personal stylist pulls together 5 items and send them to you in a box. Then you can decide what you like and don't like, keep what you like and send back what you do not like. You have to pay an upfront $20 styling fee, but that can be applied to anything you decide to keep. Also, if you keep all five items you get a 25% discount on everything.

I have seen this a lot in the blog world and I decided to give it a shot. I thought it would be a good way to change up my closet a bit. I tend to buy the similar items in a bunch of different colors and patterns so everything in my closet looks the same. This way someone else would pick something they liked and I would be forced to try it on and try something new. I also feel like I have all the "staples" I need in my closet so something different could be fun.

When my box was set to arrive I was excited and was looking forward to its arrival. It did not disappoint. All of the items in my box were something fun and different that I did not already have. Nothing was super out of my comfort zone either. I was surpised at how well everything fit and how well the stylist did at picking out clothes for me. Spoiler alert, I kept it all!

P.s. I have never posed for fashion pictures so ignore the awkward. I have a lot to learn.

Collective Concepts- Tyler Sheer Detail Pocket Front Tank -$58
This pink tank was amazing! It fit me well, but at the same time it was loose and flowy. It was also really long which I love! It had a pocket in the front and in the back there is some sheer detail. I love that its simple and unique at the same time. The price was a lot higher than I would normally pay, but since I bought everything it came at a discount.

Zad-Kristy Layered Mixed Bead & Charm Necklace- $28
This necklace was very much up my alley. It was bright and different and I fell in love immediately. I have already worn it twice in the last 5 days.

Le Sample- Kahlo Embroidered Solid Tank- $38
I love love this tank! It fit me so well and as soon as I saw it I knew I was going to keep it! All the details in the front and the shape in the back makes this my new favorite tank. You can't really see it in the pictures, but in the back it bunches a little which is my favorite part. Also, don't mind the pant switch. I think it looks better on something other than blue jeans.

41Hawthorn- Brydon Twisted Seams Striped Tank- $48
This tank was just a smidge too big which made me like it a little less. It was still different than what I would usually buy so I went for it. My husband also told me this was his favorite.
Kut From The Kloth- Mona Boyfriend Short- $24
These are white jean shorts that you can roll to make shorter if you would like. I love white shorts so these were a great addition to my closet. I figured since it is hot in Louisiana in October these would be nice when it cools off some, but still too hot for pants.

When it came time to decide what I wanted to keep and send back, I was interested in the first three items and when I looked at the price of those it just made sense to get it all. I figure I will wear all of it so why not! Since I had already paid the $20 styling fee, I paid an additional $132 to keep it all. That brings my total to $152, which averages to about $30 an item. While this is more than I would usually spend on an item, I got some good quality clothes for a reasonable price, so I am happy with it!

If you are interested go check it out! My referral link is here and I get credit if you sign up for your first fix! I really think it was a fun experience and you should go give it a try!
