Weekend Update | Three Days

We had a three day weekend and it was amazing to have that extra day off. I was able to accomplish much more than I would normally be able to. Since I have been gone a lot this month it was nice to have the extra time at home to catch up. I still have a lot of stuff on my to-do list, but it was nice to get some things crossed off as well.

We started our weekend by going our with a group of people in Richard's program, including some faculty. It is always nice to see the people that we do not typically hangout with. I ordered the only thing on the menu that I will eat- fried green beans.
I had the honor of taking pictures of a sweet newborn this weekend. He is so precious and I cannot wait to start working on those pictures.

Richard and I both had a lot of work to do so we spent most of our weekend on our computers. I got to try out my husband's huge computer monitor to edit pictures and it was pretty cool to see the pictures so big.
We decided to go for an impromptu date for lunch on Saturday to a greek restaurant in town. It was the first Richard has heard of this restaurant and he was dying to go. I was happy to see that they had some sort of pasta on the menu. Richard was immediately in love.
We ran some errands and ended up at Target and I got to see the display for the product line that my favorite blog designed.
We also went for a run/walk for three miles twice  this weekend! I am so proud of us and we are hoping to go everyday until Hawaii (25 days and counting). It is a big goal, but I am hoping we stick to it and go at least 3 times a week. But man, my legs and abs are super sore today.
Other than that I was able to clean the entire house top to bottom and do a million loads of laundry so I am feeling pretty accomplished.

We did not do anything big for Easter since our family was back home. We enjoyed our weekend together and were thankful for the extra time together.
