December Review

December is usually my favorite month of the year. Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday. I just love all the happiness and excitement that surrounds the holiday. There were some tough times this month which made it harder for me to enjoy it, but I am still grateful for the last month.

-Not sure if anyone else noticed but I blogged every week day last month! Go me! I am able to cross that one off my 101 Things in 1001 Days. That is pretty impressive for me considering I was only blogging on average 3 times a week before.

-We started our Christmas celebrations by going to Natchitoches for their Christmas festival.

-We continued our Christmas tradition by baking cookies.

- We celebrated with friends one final time before everyone left for Christmas break.

-My mom celebrated her 50th birthday in heaven. And we celebrated for her down here.

-We went Christmas shopping at an outdoor festival and saw some local people.

-We celebrated Christmas just the two of us in our own special way.

-We went shopping in Baton Rouge with all our Christmas money.

- I got myself more organized by creating my own home binder.

So we had a pretty busy month. But my husband was out of school for the last two weeks and it was really nice spending so much time with him. I am so grateful for weeks like these because they do not happen very often. School will start again on Monday so until then I am going to soak up the last few days with my husband.
